4 Mins read

Whether it’s powdered smoothies or nutritious fruit or herb smoothies, it’s time to drink your way to body perfection. There are many types of powders that can be added to smoothies to boost their nutrient content and flavour. Some powders are made from dehydrated fruit such as Dragon Fruit Powder, Guava Powder, Stawberry Powder etc while others are made from dried herbs, roots or tubers such as Ube Powder, Sweet Potato Powder or Ashwagandha Powder. Sipping breakfast is the new norm and is usually a part of a wholistic healthier lifestyle. I am not a morning person, so breakfast most often does not happen. Breakfast is usually coffee or water and lemons. I am more of a ‘brunch’ kinda girl. But more often than not, that ‘brunch’ is a smoothie with a banana, almond milk and some other fruit. I am desperately trying to spice things up. So I went to a wholefoods website and decided to create a list of things I could add to my smoothies each morning that were both delicious and nutritious. These are the ingredients I found (after a number of amazon orders) that will really have major health benefits for you. With a simple NutriBullet , you can really transform your mornings with these nutritious smoothie compliments and elevate your smoothies from that boring banana and almond milk base.

Ashwagandha Smoothie Powder

Ashwagandha is everything to me. I have a 9-5 and when I really need to focus, a teaspoon of Ashwagandha in my coffee is all I need for the day (tastes horrible, but does the job). Ashwagandha is a plant that is native to India and is commonly used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. It is sometimes referred to as “Indian ginseng” due to its similar properties. Ashwagandha is believed to have a number of potential health benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving brain function, and increasing energy and endurance. Who needs study drugs or coffee when you’ve got Ashwagandha. Ashwagandha powder contains chemicals that calm the brain, reduce swelling, lower blood pressure, and help the immune system. It tastes horrible, but, you know what they say, if it tastes horrible, it’s probably good for you. If you are looking for focus, clarity and calm, this powder is definitely your go to.
